Camille Dupont

ASSISTANT COACH

Coach DuPont comes to the Golden Eagle Wrestling Club with 12 years of high school coaching experience and 3 years of collegiate coaching experience. He spent 12 years as the assistant coach for Cherry Creek High School and 3 years as an assistant at Colorado School of Mines.  During his time at Cherry Creek, he facilitated instruction in all 3 forms of wrestling: Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman. He coached 15 state placers, 3 high school state champions, and 6 future Division I athletes.

As a collegiate athlete, Coach DuPont wrestled for Western State University in Gunnison, CO where he was a 4x Academic All-American, 2x NCAA Division II All-American, and National Finalist. He earned Colorado’s Collegiate Wrestler of the Year Award voted on by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Coaches Committee and was also the recipient of Western State University’s Paul W. Wright Athlete of the Year Award. In High School he was a 4x Colorado Freestyle State Champion, 4x Greco Roman State Champion, and a Colorado High School State Champion in Folkstyle for Lake County High School in Leadville, CO.

 

He is currently employed with Sirius Solutions as a Sales Support Advisor.
